I advocate for the expansion of Pay With Points to upperclassmen, as well as the expansion of Passport for the Arts for all undergraduate students. Additionally, I support the process of rebuilding a relationship with Class Governments, in order to promote greater community among all class years.
Transparency, Accessibility, and Sustainability
One of my most important platform points is increasing sustainability by enhancing the vegetarian/vegan options in dining halls, increasing composting options, and amplifying the voices of our EcoReps. Another key point would be to hold the administration accountable to be transparent about the Dining Pilot and begin to interact directly with members of the undergraduate body. Increasing accessibility through improving lighting on campus, beginning conversations surrounding the efficiency of a 12-week semester, and facilitating the process for emergency funding.
Improving Campus Life
I plan on improving campus life by preventing schoolwork from being due right after or during allocated breaks, increasing options for freshman seminars, and increasing spaces in classes required for majors. I am currently looking into on reforming the Title IX policy to better protect survivors of discrimination and other forms of interpersonal violence.
